Judy is an adware generator that is present in 41 applications developed by the Korean company Kiniwini. This adware uses infected devices to generate large volumes of fraudulent clicks on ads, converting into revenue for their creators. Malicious programs totals between 4.5 and 18.5 million downloads.

I'll tell you ways to keep your device safe from this malware

1. Running Updated Os

Updating your device is a necessity because updated software gives you the best chance to stay safe as possible because software updates automatically adds new security firewall and also improve device  performance.
2. Installing Antivirus

Antivirus app are very important as we all know, but people think no it only works fine on windows, with a new malware in town I'll advice you to get an antivirus app on your android device cus it works only if there's a form of security breach, so get one installed as they say prevention is better than cure.

3. Avoid Unauthorized App stores

Not all appstores are safe to downlaod from, this Judy malware has just shown that even google play store is vulnerable to getting hit with malwares, so it's advisible to take note of any appstore you're downlaoding from.

4. Read App Privacy Policy

Make sure to read the privacy and policy before you install or download any app. Make sure you are not giving enough permissions to compromise your Android device.

You can even use a VPN for browsing and try to download applications using a secure wireless network. Make sure you don’t view or share sensitive information when connected to Public Wifi.

These are the list of malicious apps developed by Kiniwini. Google has removed the apps from its store. However, if you still have any of the apps on your phone delete immediately.
